Today, One day internationls, though are loosing fame when compared to 20-20 cup,
this game had and still has a lot of controversies in the rules.

There are lots of things we can agrue that are not fair for either bowlers, or batsmen
or fielders.

But there is a method called Duckworth Louis method, which is a lot controversial method
i suppose.... It generally comes into picture due to bad light or thunderstorms. When some
obstruction occurs during the match where 1st innings of ODI is going on, its application
doesnot hampers the teams much, only causing the reduction in overs, but it may lead to
sudden change in gers of the doing the batting due to reduction of overs...

But the biggest controversy is when its applied for the team chasing some score.
The team batting second always faces the disadvantage from the application of this method.
We have seen in recent years, South Africa loosing very crucial matches due to application of
D/L method. E.g If a team has batted first and made 200 in 50 overs and if the match is affected
with rain, the team batting second has to face a situation where it now has to chase 180 odd runs in
40 overs. Overs gets reduced much, but the runs needed are not reduced in the same proportion as the
overs.

I dont know why this rule still exists in todays' condition where there is so much of
technology involved in the game, so much of experts are there in the game, so much of
research methods, manpower and technique is available.......

I think that its high time, the cricket governing body ICC should form a highly experienced
committe of experienced umpires and experts so that a new method can be brought into existence.And
i hope that this wish is heard smwhere by someone.................

SACHIN TENDULKAR ... THE LIVING LEGEND

WELL....... We may say that Ponting will be the greatest test cricketer in coming future.. as he is already chasing Sachin in test sachin and keeping in mind sachin's and ponting's age........ any one can easily comment that Ponting will pass Sachin and will be the maximum run scorer in test cricket with maximum centuries.

But, Sachin is sachin. I dont think we can compare him with anyone present in this field now.
He has been serving the country (though many will argue that he plays for money ) for nearly 20 years now. But he still goes and bats like a Master.

I have seen him struggling poorly against Great bowlers and VICE VERSE.
He is a single player with huge expectations on him whenever he goes out to bat.
Lakhs of people switches of the TV and radios and he is no more on crease.

He is the only one who has stood out and faced the toughest of bowling attacks with tough conditions to bat as well as when his partners has done nothing...

Team India has been a One man team for long ..and now the time seems to be changing a bit.. but still .. he is a living legend......

He has stood still against australia, pakistan, on number and occasions and has also proved that though no one stands against oppositions, he is always there.......

This much i have to so.... I respect him.. and wish that he plays and serves INDIA for some more time and do wel.l

WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO HAD VERY IMPORTANT WORK AND THEY COULD JUST NOT COMPLETE JUST BECOZ OF THOSE SICK PEOPLE

WHAT ABOUT THE PRIVATE AND GOVERMENT PROPERTY WHICH WAS LOST DURING THE AGITATION.

AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, WHAT ABOUT THE LIFE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIFE DURING THIS PERIOD AND ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHOSE LIFE HAS BECOME USELESS AS THEY HAVE TURNED HANDICAPPED DUE TO INJURIES

WHO IS GOING TO COMPENSATE FOR THAT... GUJJAR "NETA" TOLD A MERE SORRY AT LAST.......BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ABOVE MENTIONED PEOPLE......

WHO IS THEIR TO SEE THEM ..........

I DONT KNOW.. WHERE OUR COUNTRY IS LEADING IN THIS 21ST CENTURY
